The Riviera ARC social / barbecue will be on the 2nd of August 2018 at the home of Ian G6TEQ. Start time is 19:00 hours local.
Donations to cover the cost of the munchies will be gratefully accepted.
There will be NO meeting at the Precinct Centre on that night.
We would like to congratulate Stewart on passing the Advanced exam and becoming M0XXS. Welcome done mate, you worked hard for this and you deserve it !
Armed Forces Day
Riviera ARC will be paying our respects to Her Majesty’s Armed Forces on National Armed Forces Day this Saturday 30th June. We will be operating from Little Haldon, close to the former site of RAF Haldon, a wartime station.
To the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, British Army, and Royal Air Force we give our deepest thanks for their service, past and present.
Riviera ARC are proud to able to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force. We will be using GB100RAF on the 23rd / 24th June 2018 close to the former location of RAF Haldon.
We will be attempting to run around the clock using a variety of modes, subject to manpower. Special cards will be available for our contacts.
Riviera ARC will be participating in the RAFARS AotA special event on Saturday 7th April where we will be activating the wartime station RAF Haldon.
We will be starting around 10:00 am, bacon rolls will be available if you are quick !
