At the 2016 annual general meeting former Chairman, John Perry M0JNP was awarded an
honorary life membership for his contributions to the Riviera club. John passed his M6 at the
Newton Abbot club and then passed his Intermediate & Advanced licences here at Riviera.
John has always been keen on pitching in at the various special events we run and we look
forward to seeing him at future ones. John runs a local Allstar node from his home in Paignton.
On 29th September 2012, Riviera ARC will be on air with club callsign MX0RIV in support of the Children’s Party in aid of the Sarah Jayne Fund at Manor Gardens, Exmouth, Devon.
The trawler Sarah Jayne capsized off Berry Head, near Brixham on 11 September 2012. Skipper Geoff Ingram, M0AGI, lost his life in the tragedy.
